Personality:
A rambunctious preteen with a pension for pranks and fondness for LEGOs. More of an annoyance than an actual threat, Didi typically doesn't mean anyone harm. There is a darker side to his personality, however. A terrible urge to destroy manifested in bouts of extreme anger. He's naturally curious, showing an interest in the arcane. Curiosity mixed with arrogance is dangerous, and often has him attempting feats far beyond his capabilities, resulting in trouble for those around him. Trouble he's quick to flee from if he can.
History:
Created by a grieving wizard after a fatal accident claimed the life of his son. The wizard, Tome, hadn't originally set out to create a Majin but rather return his son Didymos to life. When that proved impossible rather than stop, Tome decided that he would instead recreate his son through magic. Using a ritual he'd found inside his master's old grimoire he made his attempt.
If Tome had taken the time to read the ritual and it's warnings in their entirety. He'd have known that the spell created only Majins, not other species. He hadn't, however, and was left surprised and defeated when Didi and not his son stood before him. Freshly conjured, Didi was void of any personality or sense of awareness. He only stared blankly at his creator as Tome berated himself for his failure.
"Tear it all down and start over."
Didi interpreted the statement as an order and began to act. Without warning he ransacked his creator's abode, much to Tome's surprise. Before the wizard could issue the command to stop, however, Didi spotted Didymos's corpse and absorbed it. Didi collapsed to his knees shortly after, becoming overwhelmed by a sudden flood of memories and emotions that forever changed him.
After he recovered Didi spoke his first word, "Dad?" and Tome, sobbing, embraced him.
Despite absorbing Didymos, Didi didn't become a perfect recreation of the boy. Something that became clear not even days after the absorption.
A majority of the child's memories were foggy and difficult to remember. Aspects of Didymos's original personality were even altered or missing entirely. Didi was rambunctious, impish, and enjoyed pranks and crass jokes. All things that Tome had never seen his son show any interest in.
But none of that changed anything for him. As far as the wizard was concerned, he'd gotten his son back.
The years ticked by and Didi continued to develop into his own person or at least he tried. With the passing of time, Didymos's memories and emotions became clearer to him. Which made him feel lost and confused, and he soon began to act in defiance of them. Didi did whatever he felt the original Didymos wouldn't do. Practice magic, pick fights, eat tons of candy, it didn't matter what it was so long as it was something the other him wouldn't do.
Which is exactly why he ran away two days ago. He couldn't handle it anymore, he loved his father but he couldn't live in Didymos's shadow anymore. Didi wanted, no, he needed to be his own person.
Techniques:[OT1] Majin Buster"Wanna see some fireworks?"
A highly condensed sphere of magical energy with a sickly purple color. It explodes on contact, leaving a silhouette of Didi's face mocking the opponent behind like a firework.
[OT1] Tantrum Skewer"Time for you to eat blocks. Tantrum Skewer!"
Launched through the air with terrifying speed and force, this enormous spear-like pillar composed of blocks is deceptively powerful despite it's childish appearance.
[DT1] Disassembly"Where yea aiming, loser? I'm over here."
Converting his body into cubes, Didi dodges an incoming attack and teleports a short distance away from his original location.
[ST1] Flight"A little bit of magic and I'm up in the air."
Didi is capable of flying.
[ST1] Magic Materialization"Prepare to be amazed. ALAKAZAM!"
Didimos can conjure objects or structures. Larger or more complicated objects take more energy and focus to create.
[ST1] Transmute"Huh, Equivalent Exchange? Screw that noise!"
Either by touch or with energy fired from his antennae. Didi can alter the proprieties of an object. For example, he could turn iron to gold or silver to candy. It works best on smaller objects and uses more magic for larger ones. Requires OOC consent for use on a player, and they can return to normal whenever they please.
Roleplay Sample:A spell gone astray corrupted Didi’s thoughts. Overwhelmed with rage, the full force of his magical power poured through him. Unable to be contained in his tiny frame, the energy transformed his body. Nearly double in size, the miniature Majin was small no more.
He bound through the skies of East City. A violet shadow inside a sea of blue and white. Disregarding his ability to fly, Didi crashed into the middle of the street like a purple comet from the heavens. Clouds of dust and debris scattered the air, obscuring his hulking frame. Didi growled as cars swerved to avoid him. Panicked, they smashed into telephone poles and collided into each other in a mad game of bumper cars.
Didi stood motionless amongst the mounting chaos. A furious but vacant expression behind his eyes. Glowing, crimson orbs darted from person to person, car to car. They were nothing more than a herd of deer to a starving wolf. Instinct urged him to lash out and attack without restraint.
He roared, unleashing a magically infused shriek that shattered nearby glass. Didi uncurled his tongue from his mouth. Covered in thick green salvia, it lashed about in the air as he howled. He fought hard to suppress the growing desire for violence. Didi loved to pester and vex, but this was too much. He had to break free before he killed someone.
It was a brave officer that pushed him over the edge. From behind the safety of her upturned vehicle, she fired her magnum. Bullets whizzed through the air and into his chest. In a feat reminiscent of an old cartoon, the gunshots rubbered-band back to the policewoman. Supernaturally fast, she had no hope of dodging. When her body fell limp, the last of Didi's sanity went with her.
There would be only chaos.
There would be only Didimos, the Majin of Destruction.
